Getting Started with Submix

Learn how to install and set up the Submix platform to get into your first session.

1. Sign Up

First, please sign up for an account on the Submix.io website. Once you’ve verified your account by email, you can begin the installation process.

2. Download & install Submix Control Center

  1. To begin, download the latest version of the Submix app from the Submix.io website
  2. Open the downloaded ‘Submix-installer.dmg’ installer
  3. Drag both Submix Sessions & Submix Patchbay into your "Applications" folder
  4. Open ‘Submix Driver Installer’ and follow the installation steps
  5. Once installed, please restart your machine, and then you are all set!

3. Getting started with Submix Sessions & Patchbay

Sessions is a Submix-developed application that offers video calls, multi-screen sharing, Submix Sketch™, studio quality audio, MIDI streaming, dedicated mic & audio channels, session scheduling, and more.

Patchbay is a Submix-developed application that allows for the virtual routing of audio in and out of your Submix Session.
